Tenuta Montemagno lies in gently-rolling hills on the 45th parallel, a latitude that has always been known, right from the earliest centuries, for high-quality wine production. Our 100 hectares of vineyards include the most prestigious Piedmont denominations and wine-types: Barbera d'Asti, Grignolino d'Asti, Ruché di Castagnole Monferrato, Malvasia di Casorzo. But Monferrato yields great white wines as well, above all Timorasso and Sauvignon Blanc, which in our clay soils exhibits striking mineral notes and a rich bouquet.
From il Ritiro, turn left at the bottom roundabout and then go through ALTAVILLA, and it is on your right before you head up the hill into MONTEMAGNO.
In 1897, the great grandfather of Ermanno Accornero purchased the Ca' Cima farm and laid the foundation for the ongoing winemaking tradition. Thus, we do not find overwhelming technology in the Accornero cellar, but solid winemaking experience from many vintages stored in the collective family memory. A Barbera is produced that combines the best of traditional winemaking, with the improvements of modern and clean cellar work .
The Accornero winery is situated in the middle of its artfully planted vineyard lots. Barbera is obviously the main performer here, but the Malvasia di Casorzo grape has received some good attention through its newly established appellation

The Canato estate is located on the hills of Vignale Monferrato. At its feet lies the ancient "Fons Salera" (Salera spring), at the time famous for its precious thermal waters.
In 1700 the historical estate belonged to the nuns of the St. Bartholomew cloister and, in 1740, the Bishop of Casale Monferrato, Monsignore P.G. Caravadossi, bought part of the estate: the so-called "Baldea".
In the 1950s the Canato family acquired the estate on lease. The family soon realized the potential of the lands, which vaunted excellent-quality soil for wine-growing, and therefore decided to purchase the whole property.
Today, Marco Canato manages the entire estate, consisting of 10 hectares of vines, where the vineyards are cultivated with rational methods in order to produce quality grapes.

Nuova Cappelletta is an organic estate primarily focused on quality wine making and vineyard management. . There are about 20 HA (50 acres) are vineyards. The vineyards of Nuova Cappelletta are located on the hilly fields that belong to the estate. The terrain lies on top of a layer of sea deposits from the Miocenic period and a geological boundary crosses the estate from north to south. Our vines are guyot-trained. The fruiting heads are pruned to 5-7 buds and grass is grown between the rows in order to create a competitive environment, where the vines respond by naturally limiting their output. The plants are protected and treated with substances of animal, mineral and plant origin, as certified by the body for organic farming (CCPB). The biodynamic method is monitored by the Demeter technicians.

The story of Ferraris Agricola began when great-grandfather Luigi emigrated to America and struck gold during the California Golden Rush. Thanks to the proceeds, grandfather Martino purchased the "Casot," a rural farmhouse nestled in the middle of a 40,000-square-meter plot of land where one of the company's most iconic vineyards now stands.
Ferraris Agricola's new winery was built in record time in 2009 and completed on August 31st. The move from the historic site was necessitated by the increase in volumes and bottle production. The new structure spans 1,000 square meters over three floors: the basement houses the barrel cellar for aging, maintaining a constant yet natural temperature
